Crowder MARET Center
Art Boyt heads Crowder College MARET (Missouri Alternative and Renewable Energy Technology) Center. He has organized numerous student teams for competitions while at Crowder, including solar and electric cars, solar bicycles, ethanol powered vehicles, and self-sufficient solar homes. Crowder students recently completed two off-grid homes for the Solar Decathlon competition in Washington, D.C., where Crowder competed as the only community college among the university teams.
