Catch up

Dear GRO readers,
Tom and Angel have been very busy and have not been able to submit much. I promise, however, to remedy that. Personally, our garden and nursery have been cited as a "nuisance" by the town of Mt. View. As it stands, we'll be going to a jury trial in the Howell County circuit court. This has consumed us.

We have also been doing clean water work. We are involved in exposing the Missouri Department of Natural Resource/Nixon Administration Lake of the Ozarks/e-coli scandal. Google those tags up and be amazed. Soon I will report on this.

Linda has been very faithful in sending in Local food production and consumption(locavore) articles. I have gotten involved with the Well Fed Neighborbor Alliance. This is a very dynamic, fast-growing movement coming out of Springfield.
I will report on this and try to link to this on GRO. (www.wellfedneighbor.com)

Jim Scheff or Charles Phillips can update us on the Heartwood Council of last weekend.

Some of us, including me, will offer updates of garden harvests, seed-saving and extraordinary weather events.

These rambling thoughts will be expanded later, but now I must ready myself for a tooth extraction at the dentist. It's not fun getting old but it beats the alternative!
